NON-VESSEL OPERATING COMMON CARRIER

DM successfully tackles simultaneous logistical issues of chartering a container or a place on a vessel on time, at lowest available cost and taking into account the exclusive conditions of demurrage and a guaranteed free place on vessels, the latter requiring the involvement of a NVOCC licensed company and moreover taking full responsibility for the process of goods loading into containers at a manufacturer’s warehouse as well as carrying out any related task.

DM is NVOCC (MOC-NV003519) licensed and deals with chartering places on liners as well as containers for the transportation of cargoes of different dimensions and value.

Throughout the years, DM has been in close collaboration with shipping companies such as MSC, MAERSK, CMA-CGM, enabling it to provide favorable freight conditions.

Terms of reference cover the following issues concerning international container transportation:

• chartering a vessel and a place on a vessel;
• cargo examination by specialists at the port of loading;
• preparation of the documentation required for export operations;
• undergoing customs procedures;
• loading containers on a vessel;
• daily monitoring of the whole cargo route.

DM aims to ensure cargo security by undertaking to provide a compensation in case a cargo delivered to the destination is damaged. All NVOCC transportations are carried out in accordance with the current international legislation.
